The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has officially started the application process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) . The registration window opened on February 24, 2025, and will close on March 17, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official AIIMS exam portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS NORCET 2025
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years as of the last application date. Age relaxation will be provided according to the recruitment rules of respective institutes/hospitals.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
BSc (Hons) Nursing / BSc Nursing from a recognized Indian Nursing Council (INC) or State Nursing Council institute/university.
BSc (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic BSc Nursing from a recognized INC or State Nursing Council institute/university.
Registered Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized INC or State Nursing Council institute.
Two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds after obtaining the required qualifications.
Salary and Pay ScaleSelected candidates will be placed in Pay Band-2, with a salary range of Rs 9,300 – 34,800 and a Grade Pay of Rs 4,600. The recruitment falls under Group-B posts and applies to AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutes across India, depending on available vacancies.
